Haldor Laxness was up to bat and His story tell had it’s bad badness There I was downtown holding his book And the bustle of the cars around really shook I was innocent staring eye To this one guy And had a what's up and hi We both had on big white shirts And my eye contacts probably still puzzled And “unalert” Then by me walked Mr. Piccolino And my puzzle flow, was probably still in the zone As blank John Doe The police at that time riding by probably thought I looked stoned And their the colored puzzle Mexican was standing Alone Grabbing his Library book And the traffic in mind quaked and shook
