Gave The Nicest Lady My Fresh Covid Mask

“Do you have an extra one”? the most pleasant one asked.

My coworker at the bus stop didn't have a mask.

I know first hand they'll just leave your stranded ass.

I reached in my overalls chest pocket

grabbed my fresh new mask with the speed of a rocket

I had her back

I gave her my fresh-new one with absolutely no slack

and put on the dirty one in my own backpack.

She's a very pleasant someone

who causes problems with none.
