Somehow someway the printer malfunctioned, We were rushing
It was the Sun Day inside last winter I went to anniversary invitation junction, We were flushing
onto the table my 1st batch stumbled
I saw the rash misprint trouble,
On the pages after the print dash I saw images of the double
Oh Brother, I wasn’t ready for the burst of my wallets bubble
I being the previous notebook with pen lover had a split second huddle
The Save of the RSVP’s were taken into the palm of my notebook drought hands
I decided with an urgent need, so blatant, then so calm to be that wallet strong-stout man
the unbalanced printer malfunctioned
with calluses and blisters, this previous curmudgeon
just chuckled
My blue discreet invitations for the postbox needless to be said were handwritten
and with elite syncopations at the postbox my letters with the dolphin doodles went fishing
and by the patience of this previous notebook writer oh how this best man for the anniversary plan glistened
Some folks were there for the original day in Poseidon City
And then there I was the best man bloke in the car with the robust rays sitting
My friend hired me to do it for the wedding
And after all morning, afternoon, the sun was setting.
and by the patience of this previous writer oh how this man glistened
Myself and the blue brawny built ink really dug in
Then Myself and “The Boss” musically on the radio were on a mission
