The building with fire so strong was droppin

They had no shoes

They had the fire exit blues

They had nothing left to lose

Shit was dire, as they perspired from the building

The flames became higher it couldn’t retire

She said the building is on fire

prepared her exit blue running struts

Out of the building she came

back to safety onto Detroits lane

The blame for the fire so insane

was an appliance

The fire department and them had an alliance.
