Tune: Whistle oer the lav ote.

No more room for php

Pittsburgh viewing is all I see

what a renewing time for me

should've never got caught

I once had an effed up mind

even on my work dressed grind

I was the kind to toss jobs like rinds

no longer will my jobs rot.

But now I'm sincerely homeward bound

found a way to shed the pounds

again my steps will touch the ground.

Pittsburgh my home is thee spot.

Now in butler county, I have a dream

I haven't talked virtually or artificially in a while. So here it goes. Lol.

This is my personal adaptation to the song lyrics by Robert Burns. I just wrote

this adaptation a few hours ago on my bus ride home. This is what I have so far! I'm

trying to write a 4th verse about retreating to the “surrounding counties in Pittsburgh” as part

of a retirement goal. But not sure If I can pull that off along with this entire thing to begin with lol.

I would love for a singer to sing my lyrics. As part of a collaborative project. That'll be cool.

Look up whistle oer the lave ote on youtube. And you'll find an interesting

rendition of the song by two guys. One guy sings the lyrics, and the other guy

provides the rhythm with an instrument resembling a digeridoo.

You will not be disappointed. It's honestly very good.

Robert Burn's made some good lyrics in the past. I want to be just like him when I grow up. Lol.

Next Stop: My next post is going to be an adaptation of Sukey Jump by Leadbelly.

If you look that song up on youtube. You'll find an interesting version of Leadbelly

playing a melodeon or etc.

My free chapbook is on wattpad. Go to my links and you'll find it.
